Patch-Type is a typeface series made from recycled denim fabric. Each letter is formed by hand-cut denim fabric and experimentally warped to shape into an alphabet. Patchwork Studio designed a typographic poster, an apparel series, and three shopping bag designs using Patch Type. The bike and paint marks used in the design style represent one’s ecological footprint to promote sustainable living.
