3D Cake Topper
Last month, my friend Cheryl asked me to create a special cake topper for her auntie's birthday, as a surprise for their upcoming trip to Las Vegas. Knowing that her auntie loves slot machines, I thought it would be perfect to create a Slot machine cake topper. I began the process by sketching the design on my iPad, ensuring that every detail of a real slot machine and the Las Vegas vibe were captured.
After settling on a design, I sent over my sketch to Cheryl, and to my delight, it was approved instantly. The next few days were spent gathering materials from Michaels and using my Cricut machine to cut and assemble the pieces. Creating a 3D cake topper required careful planning and testing, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process.
To make the cake topper even more special, I added gold coins spilling out from the bottom of the machine, as if her aunt had just hit the jackpot. Cheryl was ecstatic when she saw the cake topper and couldn't wait to show it to her auntie. It became the center of attention on her auntie's birthday cake and in Las Vegas.
Cheryl was so pleased with the cake topper that she contacted me again a week later to order another for her cousin's upcoming birthday. I am excited to create another unique design and share the behind-the-scenes process with everyone. For me, making custom-made 3D cake toppers is not just a job, but a way to bring joy and happiness to people's special occasions.
