Bill Ford, the current owner of Ford Motor Company, wants to be a part of the global sustainability movement and change people’s behaviour for the better. In 2007, Ford developed a program to help raise funds for local high schools called Drive 4 UR School. As an extension of the program, this green campaign is also developed to host an on-campus e–Bike and Shuttle Bus rental program.
Vancouver is striking to become the Greenest City in 2020. Therefore, this project will develop new technologies and trial runs in selected Colleges and Universities in B.C. Throughout this campaign, students can rent a Ford e-Bike and helmet by following simple steps to set up an account via a mobile application. In order to unlock the e-Bike, the student must scan a barcode behind the helmet with their smartphone.
The concept of this campaign is to connect with our future. The minimalistic design combined with realistic product shots inspires Vancourities to participate in catalyzing Vancouver together.
